🌟Glamping in the Gorms - ROWAN (also 3 others)

Auchriachan Farm sits just outside the Village of Tomintoul the Highest village in the Highlands, a family working farm. We glamped ourselves & decided this would be an ideal situation to set up our own Pods to give others the experience that we thoroughly enjoyed. Being in the Glenlivet Estate & also in the Cairngorm National Park there is lots to offer, walking, cycling, bird watching, skiing, also for STARGAZING & of course our National Scottish Drink "WHISKY" lots of Distilleries to Visit. As you can see from my own Photos, we have stocked Pods with all you require for your memorable stay, each pod also has a BBq Fire Pit. As we are a working farm, myself Debbie or my Husband Andy will be on hand during the day or Evening, for any reason we are both unavailable you will be given our Mobile No.s The Cairngorms is such a Beautiful National Park, be it Sunny, Raining or Snowing ....sometimes all seasons in one day, its STUNNING. The Glenlivet & Tomintoul Area is the best place in the Cairngorms National Park to Discover the "Wonders of the Night Sky" Basically its the best place for "Star Gazing" & this can be done in privacy from your Pod Patio whilst you are sitting relaxing with a dram in hand infront of your cosy Fire Pit - what more could you want! Not Forgetting we are situated on the route of the "North East 250" which again takes you through some breathtaking scenery & places to Visit - Royal Deeside! Have to say the "Clockhouse" Restaurant in the Square does very good food! There are also 3 local pubs which do barmeals. On a Tuesday Night we get a visit from a "Fish & Chip" Van which sits also in the square of Tom - very tasty! Our Local Food Store & Post Office - good supply of fresh produce, butcher meat, veg, cheese, alcohol etc As we are situated in the country, public transport can be a problem. Usually everyone drives or are walking, local maps can be provided for walking routes from the Information Centre in the village or the Forestry Office at top of Village There will be a complimentary supply of Tea/Coffee/Sugar & Milk in your Pod Also our Chickens are producing lovely fresh eggs - can't beat a fresh egg..... You can purchase these. There are also egg cups in your pods!
