Breakaway Beach House ~ Free WiFi

Come and relax at Breakaway! Escape to a place with all the comforts of home in this family friendly coastal seaside town. Stay at Breakaway, a chilled dog friendly house (with fully enclosed back yard). Fall asleep to the sound of the ocean, take advantage of the free Wi-Fi and cook up a BBQ delight on the Weber out the back. Enjoy a short walk to the dog friendly beach or take a short drive to Australia's largest salt water lagoon, lake Macquarie. The house is east facing with occasional views to the ocean and redhead beach. If you are an early riser the front verandah is a great spot to have your morning coffee (nespresso machine and some pods provided) while listening to the ocean and watching the sunrise. The living areas are open plan. For those that like to cook you should find all the equipment you need in this renovated kitchen. It features granite benchtops, a full size fridge, dishwasher, microwave, oven/cooktop and most importantly a nespresso coffee machine! The lounge and dining room is bright and sunny with plenty of seating to laze about or watch TV. Feel free to use the Wi-Fi (now NBN) or browse the extensive library of DVDs. There are 3 bedrooms with high end Sheridan linen provided for your comfort. Room One: Master bedroom with a sleep-in worthy queen size bed and a built in wardrobe. The room faces east so you’ll have the morning light and the sound of the oceans waves to wake you gently through the semi-blockout curtains. Room Two: Also has an ultra comfortable bed and chest of drawers. This room is at the back of the house and looks out onto the yard. It is a quieter and slightly darker room. Room Three: Features a tri-bunk with a single bed above and double below. If you have children I am sure they will enjoy this room! The bathroom has a bath and separate shower with a rain shower head, the toilet is separate. Sheridan bath towels, and hand wash is provided however you will need to bring your own favourite body wash, shampoo and conditioner. 1 bath towel will be provided for each registered guest. There is a keratin infused VS Sassoon hairdryer to smooth out your salty locks if required. The laundry is basic but contains a laundry tub and washer and dryer. There is also a hills hoist available for your hanging pleasure! An ironing board and iron is provided. A further toilet is downstairs in the laundry. Outside there is a fully enclosed, dog proof, large backyard with plenty of shade. Feel free to create a BBQ sensation on the Weber BBQ and dine outside under the backyard fairy lights. If you happen to go for a swim or surf the outdoor shower will help wash the salt and sand off. There is a real community vibe with great cafes, the family friendly Caves Beach hotel (courtesy bus available), IGA, butcher, pharmacy, gelateria and more. If you wish for the larger supermarkets you can drive 5 minutes to Swansea (Woolworths, Coles and Dan Murphy’s). The garage is not for guest use however there is off street parking. With side access that would accommodate a boat/caravan. You have access to the whole house. I do not live on the property. I am happy to be called if you have any questions. Caves Beach is well known for its network of sea caves at the southern end of the beach, which can be explored at low tide. There are BBQ facilities and a surf club at one end of the beach, at the other is the Caves Beach Hotel which has live music great food. There is an IGA for supplies or major supermarkets are a few minutes drive away. I recommend you try out the local cafes for breakfast.
