Ancient tavern house / BED and breakfast

We are located in a small quiet Slovenian village, you can count the cars that pass by during one day. The nature around is perfect for hicking and cycling, we offer a bycicle service as well. Temnica village is located on the top of a hill, you can see both the alps and the mediterranean sea. Well known for it's clean and healthy air, this house was used as hospital for polmonary diseases during second world war. The beautiful town of Trieste is just 30 minutes away. We are a permacolture farm, you will experience growing preparation and conservation of good natural food, as well as preparation and reproduction of ancient natural seeds. The village of Temnica offers home made milk, cows and eggs, and in this house we are passionate about baking bread. The overall food experience is guaranteed. The house offers many common spaces. There are 3 terraces and a big garden to enjoy outdoor space during summer. You can visit our permacolture vegetable garden whitch is located close by the house, you can pick the vegetables you want to eat. The food here is about fresh and seasonal products. Inside the house we have a big kitchen area that the guests are free to use. During winter we cook and heat the house with wood.
