2 lovely rooms in country cottage in Bollington
There are 2 purpose built double en-suite rooms in a newly built extension to our home. Each room has tea and coffee facilities. One has a bathroom and one has a shower. Both rooms have their own keys. We also have a separate breakfast room. Full English breakfast is included. Packed lunch available upon request. There is garage space for safe storage of bikes, motorbikes and off road parking. We live in very quiet pleasant area on the edge of the village. We are in walking distance of several pubs and restaurants. The canal and the Middlewood way are easy to get to for walking or cycling. For the more adventurous the Gritstone trail passes through the surrounding countryside. The village is in a valley overlooked on one side by White Nancy, a local folly, said to have been built to commemorate the battle of Waterloo, and on the other side by Nab head, from the top of which are spectacular views. You will have access through kitchen to own staircase We will be happy to advise guests on any part of their stay in Bollington. We are keen walkers and cyclists and there is usually lots going on in the village. We live in a very nice village surrounded by Cheshire countryside. There are several pubs and restaurants within walking distance. There is a canal that goes through the village where you can hire a boat for the day or bikes to cycle the area. There is parking available on the drive and a bus service into the nearest town, Macclesfield where there are 3 museums showing the history of the silk trade. There is also an excellent monthly market in the area selling locally made products.
