Roberts’ Roost features two bedrooms, living room and dining room combination, complete kitchen and one bathroom. No sharing with other guests and ground level access. Roberts' Roost is all ground level, no stairs to climb except for entrance way step. Secluded country living only 1/3rd mile off of U.S. Highway. Private stay, we only rent to one person, couple or family at a time. No sharing of premises. 900 square feet of living space, living room, dining room combination, fully furnished kitchen, two bedrooms, one with queen bed and one with full bed, and one bathroom. One third acre yard and gardens with campfire pit, outdoor seating area, and full size gas grill. We do greet you at check in with the keys and give you complete details on all the amenities available to you and are able to give you any information on local restaurants or activities. You may call us anytime for any needs you may have. You will have complete privacy during your stay. Roberts' Roost Country Guest House is secluded quiet country living at its best. Conveniently located only 5 to 6 minutes from downtown Savanna or Mt. Carroll, Illinois. Only 5 minutes to the Upper Mississippi River National Wildlife and Fish Refuge, 10 minutes to Palisades State Park. The Great River Bike Trail is also only minutes away. Also convenient to Timber Lake Playhouse, Havencrest Castle, local golf courses and wineries. Sorry there is no public transportation available to Roberts' Roost. After visiting Roberts’ Roost Country Guest House, you will have no doubts as to why Connie’s ancestors chose to settle in this beautiful area in 1860. The land that Roberts’ Roost rests on has been in the Roberts’ family for five generations. I sincerely hope all of our guests will arrive as friends and leave as family.
