Beautiful stylish rural retreat with small garden

A luxurious and contemporary self-catering holiday cottage close to the historic market town of Rye, East Sussex. Escape for a few days to the countryside with plenty of outdoor pursuits on the doorstep and a cosy retreat to return to. Newly completed there is a light open plan kitchen, dining and living room; a generous bathroom and two bedrooms. Please note that the second bedroom is a loft space with reduced head height (5ft 9 max) open to the spiral staircase leading to the living area. If you are celebrating a special event please do let us know. Equally, if you would like information on dining out please ask in advance as there are some lovely restaurants nearby, some of which book up weeks in advance. The cottage is ideally placed to explore the many tourist attractions the southeast has to offer. Rye is a 5-minute drive away and other attractions such as Bodiam Castle, Battle Abbey, Hastings Old Town and Tenterden are within a 20-minute drive. The area is perfect for those wishing to explore on foot with many rural and seaside walks within easy reach. Cyclists will find themselves with a multitude of routes to choose from. There is a large local supermarket half a mile from the guesthouse which sticks “Cook” ready meals - perfect for an easy night in. Full access to the property. Private entrance and private garden space We are rurally based and therefore ask that you respect our neighbours by limiting noise to daytime hours. An hour from the M25 (down the A21) we are 30 minutes from Tunbridge Wells. Please note comments about the ceiling height of the loft space. The space has a restricted head height and opens onto the spiral staircase.
