Working livestock farm with a beautiful 3 level home with lots of activities (including fishing, in and out games, play area) for families, reunions, groups, great retreat/vacationing get away for anyone or if you just need a room for the night. This home has lots of outside sitting areas to enjoy the fresh air and beautiful scenery. Within 30 minutes of the airport and downtown Kansas City. Close to several interesting sites, including Jesse James home and museum, and historic Watkins Mill. As one guest stated on a beautiful green spring day as we sat on the gazebo eating lunch and the goats came over the hill, "Oh my gosh, I feel like I am in Switzerland." Guests can access all 3 levels of the house with this listing, but the main level, which includes the kitchen, living room and 1 half bath will be shared by the host couple, Tom and Sherry, who live in the home. There are 2 other listing for this home, one for just the upper level and one for just the lower level both with shared main level. We live on this farm, so are in and out and around a lot of the time to assist you in your needs. Occasionally we may be away, at which time we may be contacted by phone. This is a 22 acre livestock farm, located on a hard surface road. The neighborhood is made up of small farms with a few neighbors within walking distance. Most neighbors have a few animals including chickens, goats, cows, dogs, cats and horses. There are some row crops and lots of pastures in the neighborhood. The scenery is rolling hills with pastures and trees. Uber transportation is available. There are no animals living in this home. It is a smoke free home.
