Pigeon Bank Country Cottage

This two bedroom cottage with kitchen bathroom and laundry facilities is located in a rural setting near our home where chickens supply fresh eggs daily and peacocks roam freely. Fresh country air and peace abounds. Nearby wineries and cafes are plentiful, and for those who want to venture a little further the delights of the Yarra Valley are less than half an hour away, or heading in the opposite direction Melbourne city is a 45 minute train journey. Pigeon Bank is a heritage property with magnificent landscaped gardens and a friendly menagerie of pets. It is the sort of place where you can remove yourself from the world, or access some of the world's greatest lifestyle attractions in nearby Melbourne and the Yarra Valley. If you are here on business the city is less than an hour away yet the cottage can provide a peaceful refuge or entertaining space (our lawn parties are quite the event!) - please ask if you would like to host a function on the grounds. You will have access to the entire property except our family home. The cottage is not far from our home and we share the same parking area. However we respect your privacy and will not intrude. If for any reason that you have questions or require assistance we will be only too happy to help - you can knock on our door, call out, or phone! Nestled in the gateway to the Yarra Valley wineries, artists and fresh produce is in abundant supply as are nature walks, horse riding, bike riding and local produce markets. Pigeon Bank is an historic estate with fully landscaped gardens and is an oasis on the edge of Melbourne City. About 35 minutes from Melbourne airport, only 10 minutes by car from the Melbourne City Rail System (45 minutes to the City), and 100 metres from Bus services - if you choose to leave the car behind. Uber and Taxi also service the area. You will hear the sheep, peacocks, roosters and horses - but I have never heard anyone complain!
