Big Bluff: The Bungalow
Relax and rejuvinate at Big Bluff. Wake up to kookaburras that announce the dawn and rolling mist on the mountain tops. A cuppa on the deck watching the hares dart past, or a spot in the Polaris to check the cattle before brekky. Everyone is welcome at Big Bluff to experience a little bit of farm life. Choose from a bushwalk to look out over Mt Lindsay or following the meandering creek. Connect with the land, and connect with the animals. Feed the chooks and collect the eggs, and just sit awhile and watch them. Catch up with a good book, pursue your creativity with your art or writing project. Switch off and let your mind to wander or slow down and truly talk to your partner or your children. Rest. Relax. A spot of paddock cricket or croquet, or try your hand at cooking damper over the campfire. Watch the light and the air change as the sun dips below the horizon, setting the clouds alight in a myriad of colours, then relax in the Bull Ring with a beer or two. The Bungalow sleeps four in a queen and two singles. It has a deck overlooking the creek. All our guests have full use of The Bull Ring entertainment area, with playground, bar, games, table seating for 10-12, cooking facilities and campfire. When you arrive at Big Bluff we invite you to relax in The Bull Ring with a cuppa while we explain the farm: what we do here, and what you might like to do during your stay. You can decide on extras like a picnic hamper to take exploring, fishing in the dam or a damper cooking experience. The closest town is Kyogle (25minutes drive). The Main Street is well known for it's heritage Art Deco facades. It hosts a Farmers Market every Saturday morning. Our pick of the nearby parks is Sheepstation Creek in the Border Ranges National Park. It's an easy walk to the Brindle Creek Falls through ancient rainforest following the path of loggers of yesteryear. True luxury is the gift of time and space to relax mentally and physically. Give yourself and your loved ones the gift of a Big Bluff stay.
