Mount Auldyn House was built 200 years ago and although it still has the charm of its period days, is a truly modern house, full of light, space and comfort. It is situated in the beautiful North of the Isle of Man, a place for business, sport and nature loving! Comfortable and new accommodation in a refurbished period setting, a perfect combination between countryside and small town charm. A lot of green space and even a river at the bottom,of the property. Very convenient for watching the local motorbike attractions, using the premises as a business trip base or coming as a tourist who likes walking and bird watching. The bedroom of their choice, the little kitchen and dining room for breaKfast and coffee/ tea making, the main drawing room for relaxing, reading the press and listening to music, the TV room for watching TV and the garden anywhere for relaxation and fresh air. At every opportunity for them and myself.The atmosphere is very relaxed and friendly. The most precious asset to the neighbourhood is the fact that so much is only a walking distance away- a nature trail, the local shops, restaurant s, pubs, the hospital and even the church- all within 10 minutes walking distance. This is a safe and friendly neighbourhood, the houses are of mixed standard and style but all very peaceful and quiet. The best way to explore the island is by car and we recommend that you hire a car at the airport, either prior or upon arrival. If you are a motorbike enthusiast you can ride everywhere and will experience the famous TT course which is at our doorstep. The public transportation is very well organised as well and there is a bus stop right next to our front gate. Many people just cycle about, but please note icy cling to the capital Douglas will take time, effort and is not for everyone. We are busy hosts but like interacting with our guests whenever possible and we are always available to assist with any queries and requests.
