Terraced Cottage in Llantrisant; Near Cardiff

Yr Allt sits at the top of the hill as the Welsh name suggests. The cottage is a bright and freshly decorated 2 bedroom holiday home, which has lovely rooms to relax and experience this beautiful and friendly village steeped in history. Just a 15 minute drive from the outskirts of Cardiff City or a short train journey away. The cottage sleeps 4/5 people; double bed, two single beds and an extra trundle bed. It is equipped with Wifi. The living room has a Smart TV and dinning area.. The kitchen is fully equipped with crockery, glasses, cutlery, pots and pans, an Electric cooker, Microwave & Fridge Freezer. Towels & bedding provided. The whole of the property is available to the guests to enjoy their stay. Please respect neighbours by parking sensibiliy in outside space which is only suitable for a car. There is free parking 3 mins walk away which may suit larger vehicles. The historic Llantrisant Castle and Guildhall are located directly behind the cottage. There are three pubs within 5 minutes walk of the cottage offering good food and occasional live music. The village has a couple of lovely Tea shops, convenience store and an amazing crafts shop. The hill top offers lovely views of the countryside. There are numerous and pleasant walks in every direction from the cottage. The location is a short drive (5 min) from the Royal Mint and a modern shopping complex in nearby town (Talbot Green). There is one car park space immediately outside cottage. Further free parking 3 min walk away. Pontyclun Train station is 2 miles away with direct trains to Cardiff (free parking at the station). Cottage is 10 miles from Cardiff and approximately 3 miles from the M4 which gives direct access to West Wales, London etc. Please note that the ceiling in bathroom is low especially when standing in the bath for a shower so please take extra care.
