Bank Springs Brewery Grade ii Listed, formerly a working brewery now converted to an attractive holiday house. Set in own grounds with stunning views of Black Combe and local fells and nicely situated within the setting of The Lake District National Park. ACCOMMODATION - Bank Springs Brewery is a Grade II Historic Listed Building, formerly a working brewery with unique and original external features, part of which has been converted to an attractive house. Bank Springs is set in its own grounds with ample parking, a spacious walled garden leading to a BBQ area. Bank Springs offers comfortable accommodation with two reception rooms one with open fire made from local brewery slate. Both rooms are comfy, you have the choice to relax, listen to music or sit comfortably watching TV. There is a large well-fitted bright spacious kitchen with dining area-giving access to a large enclosed drive in yard. There is a small utility room joining the kitchen and a down stairs family bathroom with electric shower and three-piece bathroom suite. The staircase leads to a spacious landing with three large bedrooms. The master bedroom is bright and roomy with a double bed, en-suite shower room and with stunning views looking over Black Combe. A middle bedroom has two single beds and washing facilities, again with great views. There is also a extra large family bedroom with a double bed two single beds and en-suite shower room, this room has plenty of space and again extensive views over Black Combe and the garden. Electricity, coal and wood are available free during your stay at Bank Springs. The property is nicely decorated throughout and has comfortable furnishings. There is full central heating (oil), double-glazing and roof insulation. Our usual arrival/departure day is Saturday but are flexible with other days please enquire before making a booking, thank you. Arrival is from 3pm and departure by 10. am Key collection details will be given prior to your stay. Bank Springs is a Self-catering Accommodation with access to front Garden and large enclosed back yard. Plenty of parking (upto 4 cars) next to front garden. We are very happy to come to Bank Springs and help with any matters that may arise , repairs or give advise on the area. Bank Springs Brewery is set in the beautiful countryside of West Cumbria on the outskirts of a small village called Kirksanton and sitting within the setting of the Lake District National Park. Surrounded by stunning views of the local fells and untouched coastline with beautiful beaches Bank Springs makes an excellent base for walking, fell climbing, beach walks and studying local wildlife. Bank Springs Brewery is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the wonderful scenery and explore the whole of the Lake District and historic towns of Cumbria. Coniston, Windermere, Ambleside and stunning Wastwater are all within 30-40 minutes drive from Bank Springs. locally there are lots of attractions and amenities, pony trekking, fishing, bird sanctuary, historic buildings, golf, explore the wonderful sand dunes and beaches we have to offer. Enjoy the hospitality of local inns and the main town of Millom is just situated 3 miles away with ample shopping facilities, local train station, museum and park. A car is advisable as Bank Springs is quite rural and the nearest town for supplies is Millom 3 miles away. A local bus service does run from the village of Kirksanton but not frequently. We can supply a list of taxis in the area and there is a train station at Millom and also a station in the village of Silecroft 2 miles way. We are very happy to help with obtaining time tables if needed. FACILITIES- Electric cooker with separate electric hob, washing machine, kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge, freezer, iron and board, cooking/eating utensils, crockery, tea towels, two freeview TV’s, video player, dvd/radio player and board games, books and a selection of dvd’s and video’s to watch. There are some children's toys and books. Bed linen is provided and beds are made ready for your arrival, we do ask guests to bring their own towels.
