Historic yet Modern adjacent to Harding U campus

Owned by three friends decided to sink cash into this place to make it nice. Might have been smarter to tear it down... but it was just too cool, so we saved it and now you’re the benefactor. Come stay with us in Searcy. We are the closest air BnB house to Harding University (HU) and the perfect location for walkability in Searcy. Walk out the front door, turn right and in three blocks you are at the town square. Or turn left out the front door and it’s one block to HU. This historic 1920’s house has been completely renovated to its original austere glory. It was never a fancy house, no special mouldings or high dollar extras. Tons of natural light, a large fully equipped kitchen, and a beautiful clawfoot bathtub make it the perfect stay. Its fresh, beautiful simplicity makes it a gem. Truly one the coolest, vintage houses in Searcy. It is original in design and simplicity but conveniences have been added to make it comfortable and modern as well. The best thing about this house is its location, just across the street from Harding’s new residential development and literally a couple minutes walk to Harding’s campus... a few minutes to the campus Starbucks, and if you want really good coffee it’s a few minutes to Midnight Oil Coffee House. You can hang out with your Harding student and his/her pals in a home setting rather than a hotel, or treat them to a home-cooked meal! It has two bedrooms, but several more people could crash there as well with relative ease and space. There is NOT a sofa bed, as indicated in the AirBnB beds icon. The 2nd bath with the claw foot tub is not a full modern shower like the new one, but provides a second toilet and a place to get ready etc. The entire house is yours. There’s a garage out back for storage but not one where you could park a car. If you need anything while in town just text us. Otherwise you won’t see us till you call. The place is yours. Very close to the Harding University campus. Directly across the street is Harding’s Legacy Park development. Sladers Alaskan Dumplings is 2 blocks down Center towards town. There’s plenty of parking both in the drive or on the street. If you have guests they can park in Harding’s parking lots and walk over. As for getting around Searcy, bring a bike or be willing to walk 5-10 minutes and you won’t need your car.
