Tree Top Retreat

My house-in-the-trees is on a hill north of Gosford, close to trains and buses, and only 20 mins drive away from the coast and its beautiful beaches. You’ll love its inviting atmosphere, the intimate tree-top and forest views, and the incredible bird life (47spp and counting). The house is great for solo travelers or couples looking for somewhere green and quiet to stay, and guests have their own bathroom and complementary breakfast to look forward to. The house is a two-storey timber polehouse with a garden and a quarter acre of regenerating bushland. It has hardwood timber floors upstairs and the guest bedroom has views across the private deck into the bush. The entire house is bright and friendly which is why I love living here. You will have access to your own bedroom and bathroom and you'll also have the downstairs living area and deck mostly to yourself. Upstairs you can use the kitchen and enjoy the living and dining areas. There is undercover parking in front of the house. I work from home much of the time and, although I tend to be busy, will be available to answer questions about the local area. My house is on a steep block on top of a ridge overlooking a valley. It's located directly next to a nature reserve, and the upstairs living space, deck and kitchen are at canopy level. We're located at the end of a long private laneway that services ten homes. Public transport (buses and trains) to beaches and other parts of the coast are within 10-15 mins walking distance, and the MI to Sydney and Newcastle is 10 mins by car. To fully enjoy all that the coast has to offer, having a car is advisable.
