This cosy purpose built Bothy features open plan living kitchen area and ensuite bedroom with Kingsze bed. Both rooms open onto a spacious patio with hot tub, and outdoor seating so you can relax and enjoy the surroundings whatever the weather. Beth's Bothy was designed and purpose built by local craftsmen as a cosy but luxurious one bedroom snug. Set amongst the beautiful Galloway Hills and over looking the Fleet Valley National Scenic area, Beth's Bothy provides an ideal destination for a weekend retreat or a base to explore the fantastic surroundings. Whether you have a passion for golfing, hill walking, mountain biking or simply enjoying the best that Galloway has to offer, you can come back to Beth's Bothy and enjoy the amazing sunsets or sit under the stars on the hot tub patio. Beth's Bothy is set amongst the open pastures of Drumwall Farm where an abundance of wildlife can be seen from the door step. Guests have access to their own snug which includes a private patio, hot tub and private on site parking. Guests also have access to our laundry room where we can store bikes or wash dry and hang up outdoor clothing. From the farm guests have access the beautiful Calley Woods taking the many trails down to the historic village of Gatehouse of Fleet. Beth's Bothy is located on Drumwall Farm where the owners live all year round. We endeavour to meet all our guests on or soon after arrival to welcome them to our farm and provide advice and directions to local eateries and attractions. The area around Beth's Bothy provides a endless range of things to do and places to visit. For those seeking quite enjoyment we sit on the edge of and overlook the Fleet Valley National Scenic Area, with its plentiful walks through open farmland, rolling hills, majestic oak woods and secluded coves and beaches. For those seeking a more active break away, Beth's Bothy is close to Kiroughtree Mountain Bike Centre and other parts of the 7 Stanes trails, Laggan Outdoor, Galloway Activity Centre. The area also provides a variety of picturesque golf courses, nature reserves and places to eat drink and buy local produce. Beth's Bothy is only 2 minutes from the A75 and within easy walking distance of historic Gatehouse of Fleet as well as woodland trails.
