Flora’s is a deluxe log cabin, fully fitted kitchen, luxury bathroom and central living/bedroom area. Our cabin is furnished to a unique, high quality standard, TV with inbuilt NetFlix, Amazon and YouTube. A large outdoor decked area with two separate seating areas offering unspoilt views of the surrounding Brecon Mountains and Brecon Mountain Railway. Ideal for a romantic getaway, birthday treat or just a complete escape from the hustle and bustle in a little piece of paradise ❤️ Based in the village of Ponsticill- Flora’s boast easy access to some fantastic walks through The Beacons, a short drive from Pen y Fan and around 15 minutes from Ystradfellte, Bike Park Wales and Zip World with a growing choice of outdoor activities available within our own village - be it guides walks, Mountain Bike hire, abseiling, Sailing ..we have it all! On site parking shared with adjoining cabin Our home adjoins the property so we can be on hand or as remote as you need! The village of Ponsticill is well known for its access to fantastic countryside walks, waterfalls, reservoirs and of course Pen-Y-Fan to name just a few. A friendly village that welcomes visitors to the area, with bustling village pubs popular year round with visitors and locals alike. Within 3 miles of the historic town of Merthyr Tydfil with its numerous shops, busy market and of course Bike Park Wales and Parkwood outdoor pursuits centres for the more energetic visitor. Crickhowell, Brecon, Abergavenny, Cardiff and Swansea are all easily accessed with 20-59 minutes from the cabin. A car is suggested as we are relatively rural, however a train to Merthyr Tydfil station and a taxi to Ponsticill will get you here! Hugely popular with cyclists we would suggest bringing your bikes ; alternatively we can arrange bike hire locally if you’d prefer.
