Nestled in Upland, you will have a relaxing quiet stay in an All-American, friendly town. With two bedrooms,(two queen beds/rooms and an additional futon in living room), fully stocked kitchen, one bath and plenty of chill space. You are welcome to enjoy a campfire in the yard or sit on the porch and enjoy the sunset. Come stay with us! I have travelled all over to find unique decor for this space. It is my favorite so far! Guests have access to the whole house, yard and parking. In addition you can walk to many convenience stores, The Bridge Cafe (for coffee and a bite), The Upland Town Library, Ivanhoe's (famous for 100 shakes and 100 sundaes), and a small grocery which houses gluten free items in addition to all other traditional groceries and a Dollar General Store. Payne's Restaurant, my restaurant for 13 years, featuring British/American fusion food is 5 minutes drive. In addition to it’s world famous Fish n’ Chips, there is espresso and many craft beers and hand picked wines available in addition to the food. On the weekends it is advised to call and make a reservation for groups 6 and ov (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) I love to entertain and chat but if you are here for a quiet time I will respect your space and be available to you for any questions. Let me know if you need any spices or an extra pans for the kitchen. Our neighborhood is friendly and quiet. There is a group home across the street that houses disabled adults. Many joggers line our street from Taylor University which is about a 5 minute stroll to the beautiful campus. Not much public transport at all. Possibly Uber drivers on occasion. There is a friendly dog and two very cuddly cats that live next door. Dogs are allowed in the cottage, so if you have dog allergies this is not the space for you, however I will note that the only carpet is in the bedrooms and I have it steam cleaned often.
