It is home to Garden City Shopping Centre and the council offices for the City of Melville. Transport is provided by the nearby Booragoon bus station. Deep Water Point (1.7km) is nestled on the water, situated between the Canning Bridge and the Mt. Henry Bridge in Mount Pleasant. It sits with a view of the water skiing, the walking, the running, the swimming, the exploring. Melville Aquatic Fitness Centre (1.1km) LeisureFit Centre is the award winning centre to cover all your health and fitness needs. Wireless Hill Park (1.3km) - Slice of natural bushland in suburbia showcasing some of South West WA's charming orchids and other wildflowers. Great walk on a fine spring day. This is a hot spot for kayakers, and there is lots of wildlife around, including baby swans and baby ducks, already! It features a gorgeous little nature based playground with low level slides and platforms, and nature play features like a water fountain and lots of rocks and logs to climb and balance on.
