The Apartment is located above Summit City a bar and restaurant. They always have great bands on the lineup so check their schedule on (Hidden by Airbnb) . They also have the best gourmet hot dogs around! A note... Since it is located above a music destination the noise could be noisy at times. we have provided a thick rug and white noise machine in the bedroom just in case I wont be there when you check in but I'm available by text message for anything you may have a question about and will try to provide anything you may need if I can. Located right on Main Street in historic downtown Whitesburg this relaxing apartment for two is perfect for your stay. It has 4 Large windows that you can look out onto Main street perfect for viewing the festivals or entertainment nights the town may provide (perfect for people watching). The apartment is also located near the walking/Fitness trail which is located behind the building and over the red bridge, Bad Branch Falls for hiking just across pine mountain, and also pine mountain itself. You cant get a better sunset than right there and they have magical overlooks provided all along the mountainside to enhance the experience. Main Street itself boasts many restaurants including Heritage Kitchen for all your home cooked favorites and Dawhares 109 who's throwing out decadent hand tossed pizzas. If its beverages your after then there is Willy's Taphouse who has the most taps around for all your drinking desires and if you are looking something alittle stronger you MUST visit Kenutcky Mist Moonshine Distillary which is an easy walk from the apartment. Otherwise if its shopping your looking for I can recommend The Cozy Corner for all your Appalachian gift needs and Annie's Frugal Finery for a last minute clothes haul. The apartment is also conveniently located right next to the Harry Caudill Library which also has events regularly including yoga and paint classes, and the rec center is another short walk for all your gym needs. It has a indoor walking track, basketball and volleyball courts and a indoor rock climbing wall! Small Town means no public transportation but a lot is just a walk away otherwise its very easy to get around in a car. but if you don't want to get out here's a hot tip! Paradise Pizza Delivers!
