The Chalet at Caldwell Cottage - 2 bed guesthouse

The Chalet at Caldwell Cottage is a private guesthouse with it's own driveway, deck and garden area. Featuring two bedrooms, a living area, bathroom and kitchen, it's got everything you need as a perfect base for exploring central Scotland, or relaxing in this beautiful rural spot within walking distance of the Royal Burgh of Lanark. The Chalet is perfect for couples, families and groups of friends alike, with accommodating hosts moments away if you need anything. The Chalet is a cosy and compact guest house with two bedrooms (one double and one twin), a living area (with sofa bed), kitchen and bathroom with shower. You'll enjoy the private deck space outside with seating and a BBQ as well as your own lawn garden with deck chairs to relax in. We encourage our guests to not only make use of their private space at The Chalet but also enjoy the communal areas of the property. The field provides space for a wander among the paths in the tall grass and a place for children and dogs to explore, as well as play equipment for kids in the main garden. We have range of seasonal produce for our guests to enjoy including homegrown fruit, vegetables and salad in the garden. Our seven chickens will provide you with fresh eggs which you are welcome to collct yourself, or we can provide them for you! We live in Caldwell Cottage itself and are on hand to help! Anything you need just shout or if we are briefly out contact by phone. We'd love to get to know you, where you're from and where you are visiting on your trip too, but no pressure if you want to just chill either! If you're looking for information, directions or advice on what to do locally we would love to help, especially with the incredible local walks, views and ruins in the area. Rural location set next to fields within walking distance of the town of Lanark Parking on-site within private driveway. Train station and bus links in the town of Lanark, with access to the city of Glasgow by train. We love animals at Caldwell Cottage and are dog friendly. Just get in touch about your dog's requirements when booking if you need to. We have 2 cats, 7 chickens and 3 fish in the pond at Caldwell Cottage for you to meet too!
