A sunny spacious bedroom with queen bed is available in a granny flat next to a sandstone heritage listed house in Hunters Hill. You'll love the comfort, convenience and privacy of this room and your own bathroom. Make yourself at home - Relax next to the pool, on the veranda or in the surrounding gardens. It is perfect for a solo traveler or couple. You're in a quiet street, but handily located with a 2 minute walk to public transport and the local shops, parking is available. private Guests will have private access to their own granny flat situated away from the main house. The house includes a large queen sized bed with a Tv on the wall with Foxtel. There is good WIFI too. the room is joined by a walk in wardrobe and a luxury bathroom with a shower (no bath). There is no kitchen access, but there is a fridge, kettle and toaster, with all kitchen amenities included. Shared areas Guest will have access to a large backyard with gardens, the swimming pool and deck chairs. Interactions with guests is as minimal as desired, if I am at home I am happy to answer any questions, or guests can feel free to contact me via my mobile at any time. Please note this is not a hotel so if I do not respond immediately I am sorry, but I will always be as prompt as possible. Dinning Hunters Hill has some quality dining options. Highly recommend the reformer avocado. Cost: 20-30 dollars per person Stone Ground Bakery Location: Shop 7 52-56 Gladesville road Travel time: 5-7 minutes’ walk Great for: Good coffee, great pies and tarts Cost: 15 -20 dollars per person Stain Café Location: 47 Gladesville Rd, Hunters Hill Travel time: 5-7 minute walk Great for: breakfast, good coffee Cost: 20-30 per person Deckhouse Location: Clarke Rd, Woolwich Travel time: 3.8 km walk – 40 minutes, 8 minute drive – 538 bus Great for: breakfast and lunch, great location looking over the water. They have other specials throughout the week. Via Napoli Pizzeria Location: Travel time: 2 minute walk Great for: Pizza, has won awards for best pizza in Sydney, must be prepared for a bit of noise Grilled republic Location: 59 Gladesville Rd, Hunters Hill Travel time: 4 minute walk Great: Turkish food, quick dinner but good quality meats. Casual dining Price: $15-25 Basil’s Location: 1/69 Gladesville Rd, Hunters Hill Travel time: 4 minute walk Great for: fish and chips, casual dining, good quality seafood Price: $15-30 Sushi Bistro Location: 1/67 Gladesville Rd, Hunters Hill Travel time: 4 minute walk Great for: relatively new sushi restaurant. Alright for a quick eat, not the best sushi in Sydney Price: $15-30 Food Shopping There is an IGA 6 minutes’ walk away If you have a car there is Coles located at Gladesville shopping centre which is approximately 10 minutes’ drive away or a Harris Farm in Drummoyne which is about the same distance. There is a fridge available and minimal cooking facilities. The granny flat is conveniently located for public transport. We would recommend downloading tripview lite app to assist with your travels. The bus stop is 2 minuets walk away. The 9km trip to Sydney CBD takes 15-20 min to by bus. In order to travel on Sydney Buses, trains and ferries you need to have an opal card. We can provide an opal card for 10 dollars which will have 10 dollars travel credit on it. This can then be topped up at train stations and 7/11 stores throughout Sydney. We have provide a pamphlet for the following buses 506 and X06 – City – Macquarie The bus into the city takes approximately 15-20 minutes. This can increase if it is during peak hour 7.30am-9am Monday- Friday. Ferries There is a ferry stop located in Woolwich which is a 3.9km walk from the Granny flat. You can also catch the 538 bus down there but this bus does not come that regularly. This ferry can take you to Circular Quay and Cockatoo Island. From Circular Quay you can get another ferry to Manly. Car parking and rental There is plenty of parking available on the street for parking a car. If you are interested in renting a car this can be done through a number of different companies. If you require assistance to do this please let us know. Pets There is currently 2 cats and 1 dog living at the residence. All animals are harmless and you are welcome to interact with them as long as you are gentle. Rules 1. No parties are to be held at the location. 2. Gates to the property must be closed when leaving the property; 3. Absolutely NO smoking in the house and if you do smoke outside, please be courteous and clean up your butts/ash. 4. If anything breaks, spills, stains, etc. please let Lachlan or I ASAP. 5. Unreturned and/or lost house keys will be charged a $25 replacement fee. 6. Any significant damage will result in the loss of security deposit; 7. No use of the pool after 10pm
