Whether is sipping a morning coffee overlooking the calm and clear water, kayaking, canoeing, playing in the tidal pool, watching sunset from the sundeck, spotting out bald eagles, strolling the natural rocky beach, building camp fire and roasting marshmallows, or simply just relaxing inside the house, you and your family will be guaranteed an unforgettable time. 1) Breathtaking backyard, best spot to soak up the morning sun, practice yoga, meditation, relax and watch the evening sunset. 2) Sundeck, a great place to have a cup of coffee and enjoy an outdoor dinner with unobstructed ocean view of Strait of Georgia. 3) Beach, just a few steps away, it is a very fun place for kids to play in the tidal pool and explore the different sea creatures in low tide. 4) Outdoor shower 5) Two Parking spaces on property 6) High speed WiFi and Netflix If Septic alarm sounds, please follow these steps. FAILURE TO DO SO COULD LEAD TO SEPTIC FAILURE AND BACK FILL FLOODING… 1) Alert owner by calling or texting 2) Disable the Alarm sound by toggling the switch on the control panel, red light will remain on 3) Cut down the water usage. For example, stop using the dishwasher and/or laundry washer, do not flush toilet every time 4) Septic system should return to normal in a few hours once water usage is cut down. Red light on the control panel should turn off by itself Eat and Do around the neighborhood: 1) Enjoy some fresh oysters and a variety of seafood in the well-known Fanny Bay Oysters Seafood Shop restaurant 2) Must try fish taco from Tidal Taco Shack stand 3) Must try the tasty local brewed beer from Gladstone Brewery in Courtenay 4) Hiking and biking in the nearby Country Regional Trial and Rosewall Creek Provincial Park 5) Golfing in some of first class golf courses, Qualicum Beach Memorial golf, Arrowsmith golf and Eagle Crest golf club to just name a few 6) Beach exploring the famous Qualicum beach Our house is perfect to use it as the home base to explore the beauties of this section of Vancouver Island all seasons long. 1) Catch the ferry from Buckley ferry terminal and explore the different natures, beaches and national parks on Denman and Hornby Islands 2) Visit some of the well known tourist attraction places such as Horne Lake Caves, Parksville, Coombs, Courtenay, Comox 3) Enjoy Christmas and Spring break Alpine skiing, and snowboarding with well-groomed runs, and powder snow in one of the best rated mountain in BC - Mt. Washington. In summer time, Mt. Washington offers mountain biking, zip lining, hiking trails, sightseeing and more…. 1) We have Surveillance cameras outside of the house. The cameras are OFF during the entire guest's stay. 2) Guests understand and acknowledge the potential danger and accidents inherent with water related recreational activities. Swimming, and the use of kayaks and canoe in our place is at your own risk. Guests accept full responsibility for any bodily injury arising from swimming, and use of the kayaks and canoe. These may include but not limited to un-supervised children, personal health risks, intoxication due to alcohol, drug and/or medication overdose. Guests agree to waive any claim against owner for accidents or claims arising from swimming, and/or using the kayaks and canoe. Owner is not accountable and holds no legal responsibility on guest’s usage of the kayaks, canoe and swimming on the premise.
