Equally accessible is the magical Dartmoor National Park with undulating moorlands and a myriad of historic sites and monuments - a rambler's dream. Just a short walk from the onsite leisure facilities including indoor and outdoor heated swimming pools, are the Valley Lodges. Arranged in small clusters along the valley stream, these typical lodge-style holiday homes are arranged over two floors with upstairs and downstairs terraces from which to enjoy the outside space. With the living space upstairs, guests are able to step out on to a decked balcony and take in the rural outlook towards Dartmoor and across the Tamar Valley. Perfect for a get together, the open plan living room is light and airy and offers plenty of space for everyone. This opens onto a private balcony where you can enjoy alfresco dining and an evening tipple. The kitchen is modern and well equipped and if you don't fancy cooking, there is a good pub/restaurant within a 15 minute walk. Located away from the roads and traffic noise, guests will enjoy a good nights' sleep in the bedrooms. There is a bus service at the entrance to the manor and also a the gunnislake train station just 1 and 1/2 miles away! You'll have a cream tea waiting for you upon arrival during the summer months! There is a gas BBQ available on the lower deck....have a cook out! Please note the BBQ can need a clean with wire brush before using. The maid service does not include cleaning of the BBQ so please clean before and after use.
