Riverview Studio is a beautiful self contained studio with your own entrance. It is in the heart of Hertford town centre yet tucked away in a peaceful cul de sac situated on the River Lee. Oak french doors lead onto decking with secure glass balustrade, stunning views of the river, canal boats, Hartham Park is just across the river . All the trendy bars and restaurants are just a metres away . Hertford East Station is a 4 min walk. FREE PARKING for one car. NEW RUSSELL HOBBS FILTER COFFEE MACHINE!!! The beautiful self contained studio has a bedroom with rustic oak bedroom furniture consisting of a double bed, wardrobe and a bedside cabinet. BRAND NEW SMART TV ON WALL IN BEDROOM! Wet room with a power shower, corner mirror cabinet, basin and WC. Christie and John Lewis towels. We have a brand new Megaflow installed therefore the shower is very powerful and has constant hot water! A brand new Worcester Bosch boiler has been recently installed. I have the Hive app on my mobile so if I’m out and you want the heating adjusted I can do it straight away, please let us know times you’d like heating to come on as every guest is different ! PlThe common area has a sink, cuboards, fridge and microwave (NO OVEN ) and cutlery . TV on the wall is on a swivel bracket so you can easily see it from the sofa. WIFI with the main connection in your room and USB SOCKETS IN THE BEDROOM AND LOUNGE. Kitchen Aid Kettle and matching toaster, tea, coffee and Twinnings box with herbal tea sachets. There is a black leather sofa in the common room with a throw and cushions . Oak coffee table, the French doors lead on to decking with amazing views, the canal boats and Folly Island cottages are just across the river. An original red telephone box is a feature which is often commented on by people walking on the other side of the river, there is also an original Royal Mail wall mounted post box on the back of the house. 1) NO WASHING MACHINE) 2) DUE TO INSURANCE PURPOSES THERE IS NO OVEN OR HOT PLATE (ONLY A MICROWAVE) 3) PLEASE DO NOT BRING A HOT POT AS THERE IS NO EXTRACTOR FAN, THE SMELL RISES TO THE HOUSE ABOVE. 4) THE ONLY WORK SPACE IS SITTING ON THE SOFA AND USING THE LARGE WOODEN COFFEE TABLE TO PLACE A LAPTOP (SORRY THERE IS’NT ROOM FOR A TABLE & CHAIRS INSIDE THE STUDIO. BUT IF THE WEATHER IS GOOD YOU CAN SIT ON THE RATTAN TABLE AND CHAIRS ON THE DECKING, THERE IS ALSO AN EXTERIOR ELECTRIC SOCKET TO THE RIGHT OF THE PATIO DOOR. A DISCOUNT IS FOR LONG TERM AND ONE GUEST ONLY! There is a tv on the wall in the kitchen/lounge, which is terrestrial and free view I believe. The tv in the bedroom is a smart tv. If you’re like me and not technical and previous guests leave it on their personal login details for Netflix, then I’m sorry but I cannot help you. If you have logging in issues please use the tv in the lounge. Thank you! 🙏 The bedroom can up to sleep 2 people We live on the first and second floor and are available should you require anything. Paula does work unsociable hours and may not be there upon your arrival or departure but is happy to communicate via text or by phone. The studio is situated in the centre of the beaitiful historical town of Hertford. There is a Musesum , Castle and tourist information centre just a few minuets walk away. The town has beautiful old country pubs, restaurants, shops and the Hertford train station in a 4 minute walk asay. Opposite the river is Hartham Park and Folly Island . Footpaths along the river leading to stunning views of the River Lee countryside. Hertford East station a 4 min walk. The main bus station is less than a minute walk as there is a short cut which i can show you. 2 min walk to the taxi rank. The rooms are gas central heated, we can set the times to suit the guests. Free parking for one guest vehicle (MUST PARK UP TO THE GARAGE DOOR) The parking in the street is free before 8am and after 6pm Monday to Saturday, it’s free parking all day Sunday. There is a multi storey car park close by.
