Creekside Tiny
Nestled on Darkinjung Country in the bush lands of Kangy Angy on the Central Coast. Creekside Tiny is an environmentally aware and tranquil space. If you are interested in what true off-grid living is like, spend a few nights unwinding and reconnecting with yourself and nature. A self-sustainable place that uses solar power, composting toilet, gas cooking and fresh tank water. Leave your devices at home (there is no 240v power to plug into) and just let go! Note: There is phone reception. Creekside Tiny is just that, a tiny house near a stunning creek for swimming, and plenty of space and bush to walk around. Minimalist living that offers a small kitchenette and a BBQ to do some creative cooking – please note there is no oven or microwave. Two cosy loft bedrooms one with a queen bed and the other with two singles. Great for a couples escape or can accommodate a small family or even a couple of friends. We are an LGBTQIA+ friendly space. With just over an hour’s drive from Sydney and Newcastle, this could be the perfect little hideaway you’ve been craving. A short 10-15-minute drive to Long Jetty and Shelly beach gives you the best of both worlds. Relax on the beach or at the many cafes and restaurants, take a stroll and check out the op-shops, or even enjoy a yoga session with our friends at Modern Organic. Although you may feel miles away from anything, Tuggerah Westfield is nearby for all the essentials, a cinema and even a bit of shopping. We will give you the space to do your thing, but if you do need us we live on the property and can be there to help out. - Need the gas changed over or the power goes out just let us know. (In the winter months sometimes we will need to run the generator to charge the house batteries) We are also happy to chat with you about our off-grid sustainable lifestyle if you are interested. If you are keen we will bring the coffee. Even though we are rural there are plenty of places around. Chittaway Bay and Tuggerah Lakes are beautiful little spots. Wyong has some nice cafe and restaurants, and a great new theatre. Tuggerah Westfield for all your shopping needs and a little further out is Long Jetty, with a great cafe scene, and Shelly Beach if the ocean is what you are after. Having your own transport is beneficial. You can order taxi's and rideshare services if you need to. There are two train stations nearby, Ourimbah (closest - about 7minutes away) and Tuggerah (about 15 minutes away) There are other people, dogs, and chooks that live on the property. Be mindful that this is a shared space.
