Penzeath chalet: A sunny chalet at Gwithian Sands
Penzeath is a traditional wooden beach chalet nestling in the sand dunes in the towans at Gwithian Sands. It is in a great location for a relaxing holiday or a great base from which to visit Cornwall's many attractions. Penzeath chalet is on a small family-run site with fantastic sand dunes right outside the door. A safe haven for children to play and grown ups to unwind. Penzeath chalet is situated in one of the nicest locations at Gwithian Sands. It sits next to the sand dunes and has uninterrupted views down the site. There is a full length gated deck to contain ‘little ones’ and pets, and plenty of parking next to the chalet. The kitchen has a light and spacious feel with dual aspect windows overlooking the dunes. You will find the chalet fully equipped with all you will need including cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer, toaster etc. There is a family dining table in the kitchen area with seating for 5 guests. The lounge has sliding patio doors out on to the deck with lovely views of the dunes. There is a TV and DVD player, plus local books to guide you on your holiday along with games and films if the weather’s not great! There is a comfortabla sofa and armchair with occasional tables. There are 2 bedrooms. Bedroom 1 one has a double bed and bedroom 2 has a double and a single bed. Both rooms have plenty of storage and bedside tables with lamps. Duvets and pillows are provided along with freshly laundered mattress and pillow protectors but you will need to bring your own linen and towels. The bathroom has a walk–in shower, wash basin and toilet. Dogs £25 each per week (sorry not during July/ August) Penzeath has a Saturday changeover. Electricity is obtained via a £1 coin meter. Guests can arrive any time after 2pm and you can make yourselves at home on arrival with a key code to let yourselves in. I live locally so if there are any problems or you would like any assistance I can be with you within 10 minutes. The huge expanse of Hayle, Gwithian and Godrevy beaches forms the largest continuous sandy beach in Cornwall stretching over three miles in length. There is at least 2 miles of dog friendly beach during the summer. Hayle train station is 2 miles Newquay airport 32 miles Local busses pass the chalet. Electricity is supplied via a £1 coin meter
