Gorgeous Mini Gite or BnB Normandie

A small but beautiful, cosy and warm gite, built around 1630, that can either be taken as self catering or as a BnB. Please note that in order to protect us and our guests during the current Covid pandemic we request that an up to date Covid pass is confirmed before booking is made Pour la description en français, voir dessous La Petite Crèmerie or The Creamery is a newly restored area of our ancient Norman farmhouse which dates from about 1630. As you can guess from the name, it was the old dairy or creamery. We spent a year restoring this space and creating a warm, cosy and private environment using local and ecologically sound materials. Set in the rolling hills of La Suisse Normande, La Petite Crèmerie offers you a completely private and self-contained living area and bedroom. Primarily intended as a Bed and Breakfast, The Creamery can be used as a little gite on its own with loads of extras including cooking facilities,a garden and BBQ for your use. Basically it is your choice, if you want a short stay with breakfast then apply the daily rate, if you don't and want to stay a week, then go for the weekly rate - don't hesitate to contact me for more information. Whatever you choose, we are happy to leave you to your own devices. If you want breakfast then we can stock your fridge up and provide you with a scrumptious breakfast of fruits in season, locally produced yoghurt, our own hen's eggs, breads, home made jams etc to last you a couple of days so that you can enjoy a lie in in the morning without being disturbed. There are two extremely comfy beds which we can put together to make one huge double if needed. As you will see from the photos, La Crèmerie is pretty darn gorgeous and we look forward to welcoming you to our home and this beautiful and natural part of Normandy. We are just a km walk from our village shops where you can buy all that you need from the excellent bakery, grocers and fabulous butchers. There is so much to do here but the area is a cyclists, runners and walkers heaven. Kayaking on the River Orne is a brilliantly fun day out from just 10 minutes away. We are an hour from the Normandy D Day beaches, just over that from Le Mont St Michel. EN FRANÇAIS La Petite Crèmerie est un partie de notre ancienne ferme normande nouvellement restauré qui date d'environ 1630. Comme vous pouvez le deviner de son nom, c'était l'ancienne laiterie ou crémerie. Nous avons passé l'année dernière en travaux de restauration de cet espace pour créer un environnement chaleureux, confortable et privés en utilisant des matériaux local et écologiques. Situé dans les collines de La Suisse Normande, La Petite Crèmerie vous offre un espace de vie complètement privée et autonome. Principalement conçu comme Chambre d’Hôte, La Petite Crèmerie peut être utilisé comme un petit gîte complètement autonome avec beaucoup d’extras, y compris des équipements de cuisine, un jardin et un barbecue à votre disposition etc. Fondamentalement, c'est votre choix, si vous voulez un court séjour avec petit déjeuner, donc appliquer le taux journalier, si vous ne le voulez pas et vous voulez rester plusieurs jours sans pt dej, aller vers le taux hebdomadaire - contactez- moi pour de plus d'informations sur ce sujet si ce n'est pas claire:-). Quoi que vous choisissiez, nous sommes heureux de vous laisser indépendant. Si vous voulez le petit déjeuner alors nous pouvons stocker votre réfrigérateur et vous fournir autant d'aliments pour vous durer quelques jours afin que vous puissiez faire la grasse matinée le matin sans être dérangé ou nous pouvons fournir des petits déjeuners traditionnels de nos propres œufs et produire sur demande. Il ya deux lits extrêmement confortables que nous pouvons mettre ensemble pour faire une énorme double, si nécessaire. Comme vous pourrez le voir sur les photos, La Petite Crèmerie est vraiment magnifique et nous sommes impatient de vous accueillir chez nous dans cette belle et naturelle region de la Normandie. La Petite Crèmerie est un km à pied des commerces du village. Un excellente boulangerie, épicerie et un superb boucherie. Il y a tellement à faire ici,.. cyclisme , courses a pied et promenades a pied et Kayak sur la rivière Orne Nous sommes une heure des plages du débarquement et, un peu plus du Mont St Michel. A small garden with picnic table, sun loungers and a BBQ. We live next door so are readily available to help our guests with tips on where to go, where to walk, paths and where to eat and shop. La Suisse Normande is a very special, protected part of Normandy; completely different from its surrounding areas with forested rolling hills, deep valleys and fast flowing rivers. It is the tranquility and the peacefulness of the place that endears it to us and all of our guests go home having shared in its experience. You will need a car to get here but there are trains from Paris to either Caen ( where you can pick up a rental car) or Flers We have bikes that you are welcome to borrow if you want to discover the region of La Suisse Normande in a more sedate manner !
