The Perch is located on a 2 acre block in the Shannonvale Valley. The property is architecturally designed to invite in the views and breeze. The hosts occupy the main house and guests have full use of the separate Bungalow which features separate bedroom, sitting room with TV, kitchenette, bathroom and toilet. Access to a magnesium pool off a deck. Guests can sit on the deck and take in the serenity and the local wildlife. Within walking distance is a swimming hole and a tropical winery. Bedroom One: King size bed, wardrobe, desk and Air-conditioning. Second Room: Pullout sofa bed, wardrobe, desk, flatscreen TV and Air-conditioning. Kitchen: Microwave, electric hot plate, bar fridge, sink, cooking utensils, Crockery, cutlery and tea towels supplied. Access to BBQ. Bathroom: Shower and Basin with Mirror. All towels and pool towels supplied. Toilet: Situated separate from bathroom. Host is onsite of an evening and by telephone contact during the day There are plenty of dining options nearby, a large supermarket, and service stations. A short 15 minute drive is Port Douglas and one hour north to the world heritage Daintree National Park. Public transport is limited, private taxi and Uber are available for your convenience to get around the Douglas Shire. Your own private transport may be preferred for your flexibility.
