Sit back and relax on the terrace and watch the sunset, or explore the extensive gardens - filled with daffodils in the springtime; overflowing with hydrangeas and rhododendrons come summer. The autumn colours on the fells are an incredible sight and nothing beats the view if you are lucky enough to be there when it snows. Forming the significant, southern section of a large country house built in the traditional Lakeland style, the property recently underwent a complete renovation by its interior designer owner. It is well suited to families and those celebrating a special occasion, as well as couples seeking the ultimate luxury escape. Grasmere village is an easy 15-20 minute stroll. The public access path to Grasmere Lake is at the front of the property. Parking for the house is on the far side only (outside library/kitchen). Guests have access to the garden directly in front and to the side of our side of the house. Other areas of the property are for the private use of the other homeowners. There is a stream on the property and due to the beautiful woodland nature of the garden, pathways can often be very slippery. There is also a wall with a steep drop on the other side. Care should be taken at all times and young children accompanied in the garden. 7 night minimum during July and August. 4 or 5 night minimum during other busy periods. 3 night minimum during the low season.
