Spacious, comfortable private home with plenty of living space, including an expansively decked, secure rear yard. The house is furnished for your comfort, including well equipped kitchen, plenty of seating for 10 guests, BBQ, & Wifi. We have 4 bedrooms to sleep 8, + sofa bed in the loungeroom for 2 extra people. PortaCot is available on request. The area is quiet & peaceful, with lots of local options from nature to adrenaline. Please read the FULL description & House Rules prior to booking. Our recently renovated (2019) home is ideal for family groups, friends, business groups, or anyone looking for accommodation cosier & more private than staying at a hotel. There are 4 steps to the front entry, with the house on a single level. A sensor light ensures you’ll have no trouble entering the house. Our home has 4 living areas - The Lounge room has a 2seater sofa & 3seater sofa bed. The Living room contains a 3seater couch & 2 recliner chairs, Smart TV enabled with Netflix & YouTube apps (for use with your own Netflix & YouTube accounts), DVD player & PS2 console (byo games). The rear yard is secure & fully decked & we’ve provided you with a gas BBQ & large outdoor table with 10 chairs for your leisure. The Games room is accessed via an outside sliding glass door. There’s a 2seater couch & some stools as well as a ping pong table with net, bats & balls. There's an additional decked area at the front of the house with 2 chairs & a table. You can enjoy a quiet read or drink on a sunny afternoon. The deck has direct access from Bedroom 1. Entertainment – Free NBN WiFi – The password is listed in the Welcome Book. Internet availability is quite good in the area, but any dropouts would be out of our control. For your amusement we have a small Bluetooth speaker box (for your own music), PS2 console (byo games) & also a range of DVDs, games, toys & puzzles (for toddlers to adults). The bookshelf in the Study nook has some books that you’re welcome to read & swap. The childrens’ picture books are not to be swapped or taken please. There are 4 bedrooms plus a Study nook - 1 x queen bed, 1 x double bed, & two bedrooms have 2 x single beds that can be moved together to make King size beds upon request (up until 3days before you arrive). We have central Heating & Cooling throughout the house, as well as ceiling fans in each bedroom. There’s also a wood fire in the living room – ONLY to be used by guests who have experience with coonara-type fires. Please refer to the House Rules booklet for full conditions for use. The Kitchen is well equipped with Ceramic cooktop, electric Oven, Microwave, Fridge & Dishwasher. Operating instructions can be found in the Welcome Book. We also provide a Kettle, Pod coffee maker, Toaster, Sandwich toaster, Blender & Rice cooker. The Pantry has some supplies like Coffee, Teas, Hot chocolate mix & Sugar. Plus Cereals, Spreads, Oil, Salt & Pepper, Condiments, & other assorted everyday basics. Please check the items on hand before you shop as you’re welcome to use whatever is there. Kindly replace any items that you finish so that our next guests benefit from the available supplies as well. The Laundry has lots of bench space, & is equipped with washing machine, iron & ironing board, broom, vacuum, mop & bucket for your use. A clothesline is just outside the back door, & there’s a clothes airer for those cold, damp days. Additional equipment is available on request & at no extra charge – Disability Commode & Shower chair. Baby PortaCot & bedding, Highchair, Rocker Please note that children under 2 stay free of charge. Discounts are offered for extended stays. Cleaning & fresh linen etc - For stays of more than 1 week - Upon your request, fresh towels & bedding changes are replaced weekly at a cost of $70. Or we can provide an extra set of everything (at no charge) if guests wish to change & wash the towels & bedding themselves. Thank you in advance for taking care of our special place. You'll have access to the entire property including garage & driveway parking for 3 cars, plus street parking. The rear shed is used for Host storage, & is not accessible for guests. Keypad entry allows guest access any time without the worry of losing keys. The keypad code will be sent to you 2-3 days prior to your stay. Check in time is 3pm & Check out is strictly 10am. These times can be flexible ONLY by prior arrangement & if there are no bookings before or after your stay. We'll meet you at Check In if you wish, but only if requested. We’re just a message away to answer any questions or offer suggestions, & can be available quickly for any urgent matters. ie..water leaks Our home is located in a quiet, leafy, family neighbourhood, close to lots of parkland & walking/bike riding paths, shopping centres, family activities, schools & childcare. Our local Endeavour Hills shopping centre is big enough to service your needs, or if you simply want some down time – 3 Supermarkets, Variety stores, Bottle shops, Banks, Post office, Food court, Cafes, Deli, Hair & Nail salons, Take away food, Pharmacies etc. 5mins from the house we have all the above plus – Walk to Frog Hollow wetlands for walking/cycling paths, playgrounds, fishing & lots of birdlife (one of my favourite places to walk our dogs), Access to the M1/Monash/South Eastern freeway, Hallam Hotel (for live music), Restaurants, Supermarkets, YMCA Gym, Skate park (currently undergoing maintenance), Golf club, Churchill National park, & lots more. Within 10mins you will get to Myuna children’s farm, Dandenong police paddocks (walking trails), Dandenong basketball stadium, Lysterfield park & lake, Fountain Gate Shopping Centre, & Cinemas. 15mins gets you to Dandenong (produce) market, Wilson botanic gardens, Berwick (lots of eateries), & Akoonah park (farmers) market. 20-30mins takes you to Belgrave & other pretty Dandenong ranges villages, Puffing Billy steam train, Knox shopping centre, Chadstone Shopping Centre (fashion capital of Melbourne), & bayside Beaches.
