The Quantock Hills are very close by, and this is an ideal base from which to explore Somerset. You are welcome to use the large dining room table (quiet space) for your laptop, or work (this is paused for the time being during the COVID crisis). Apart from the guest room, you are welcome to use the kitchen to make a cuppa if you’d like a change of scene, or the dining room table for reading or working (this is paused for the time being during the COVID crisis). I am happy to socialise as much or as little as you would like (during the COVID crisis, this is paused - I am welcoming guests by doing the check-in socially-distancing in the garden, then guests see themselves up to their room. I lay breakfast in the dining room and, when guests come down, I do not go into the dining room. During the stay, I do not service the bedroom by making the beds or emptying the bin, asking guests to let me know by message if they need anything). It is in Cotford St Luke, only 4 miles from Taunton. There is a local shop and a pub/restaurant within a few minutes walk. There are bus links to Taunton and it is close to the motorway junction to London or the South. The Quantock Hills are close by and this is a great base from which to explore Somerset.
