Bird Song Cottage close to Wollongong

Located in Figtree, the cottage is set on part of our 3 acre property in a rainforest type setting, offering peace and privacy away from the hustle and bustle . With no immediate neighbours our cottage is the perfect place to relax and unwind on our gorgeous deck area . The cottage and our main house are well seperated by space and bush. The cottage is close to major shopping, mountain biking, bush walking, beaches, the University of Wollongong, Entertainment Centre and Train Stations. Our cottage has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The kitchen is large and spacious and we have provided everything you need to cook meals. The living room is set up with a large flat screen TV and comfy lounge. We have an undercover carport for 1 car which is directly near the front door. The laundry is fully equipped with a washer and dryer, ironing board, iron and airing rack. We have a wrap around deck which is perfect to enjoy a wine and cheeseboard on, or toast some marshmallows by our fire pit. The cottage has a very spacious backyard with a lovely outlook of forestry, as well as nearby Mount Kembla. There are bus stops located along our street, and the nearest train station is 5 minutes drive. Guests at the cottage have their own parking- 1 under cover space, and 2 outdoor spaces. Guests have access to the entire cottage. It is completely separate- not at the back of a house, not joined to a house, and no immediate neighbours. We will be around to help during your stay, however we like you to have peace and privacy during your stay. If you have any problems we have provided our phone numbers in the handbook. Alternatively you can contact us on the Airbnb messaging. Quiet neighbourhood. No immediate adjoining neighbours. You will enjoy privacy in a tranquil bushland setting yet only a few mins drive to main road with easy links to Sydney and the south coast freeways. We are located within 8 mins drive to Wollongong CBD and shopping and about 10 minutes into beaches and harbour. We are within riding distance of Mount Keira for keen mountain bikers and bush walkers Bus routes on Princes Highway, uber, 5 minute drive from unanderra train station. Close to all major amenities. Walking distancing to Figtree Grove, Chicko's and Figtree Pub. We will leave a welcome package for your arrival. This will include alcohol, breakfast condiments (cereal, bread) spreads, butter, milk, eggs and bacon and some snacks. This is included in the price so please enjoy! Currently our property doesn’t meet certain requirements such as fencing, bedding, kitchen safety where we would feel comfortable hosting children under 8 years old. We would consider children close to this age so please ask us if they’re in your party and we can discuss.
