Located in the beautiful medieval village of Ségur
We offer a large comfortable room with double bed, sofa, wardrobe, drawer space and adjoining private bathroom with double shower. You will be given your own key to these areas to ensure your privacy. We provide french & u.k. tv, tea and coffee facilities, along with hairdryer ironing board etc. Breakfast is served in our dining room. Our 2 rescue dogs Milo and Pippin live at the property and have access to shared areas, but not your private areas. A PASS SANITAIRE IS REQUIRED FOR ALL GUESTS Our property is a former 'Wheelwrights', with workshop and forge on the ground floor and is located in the beautiful medieval village of Ségur le Chateau. The property is in the Correze, very close to the borders of both the Dordogne and Haute-Vienne and conveniently located to the airports of Limoges and Brive as well as the A20. Ségur le Château is officially listed as one of the most beautiful villages of France (les plus beaux villages). Pompadour (city of horses) with its magnificent chateau, racecourse, and eventing areas is just 20minutes away by car. Access to the property is by external staircase as the accommodation is situated on the 1st floor above the old forge. Guests will be given a key to both the property and the private bedroom and bathroom area. There is also a key code box at the property for an emergency key. The area is packed with history being associated closely with Richard the Lionheart who was killed in the region. Ideal for walkers and lovers of medieval architecture. Visitors will need a private vehicle as there is no public transport. Please note that the property is unfortunately unsuitable for guests with disabilities due to the external staircase. Also a pass sanitaire IS required for all guests.
