The Coach House A Spacious, Seaside Retreat

The Coach House is an adorable cottage in the grounds of an imposing Victorian house and has been completely renovated during summer 2020 to include the provision of a secluded private patio garden accessed directly from the property. It has everything you need to enjoy your holiday and is close to all amenities, a 10 minute walk to the beach and Royal Harbour and 12 minutes walk to the train station. The Coachhouse is a detached cottage in the grounds of a beautiful garden with separate drive and gated entrance. It's set over two floors with an open plan living area that runs into a fully-equipped kitchen. Upstairs is a double bedroom and ensuite wet room. Guest have use of their own private patio space with table and chairs and a Weber BBQ. The property is accessed via walking through a beautiful garden belonging to the main house. The house and garden are lived in by owners Verity and Duncan and teenagers Harvey and Missy. The four-legged contingency are Jemima the cat and Humphrey and Nancy, our two very friendly Working Cocker Spaniels. Access is via a side gate at the front of the family home - the side where the garage is. To access the Coachhouse walk through the gate next to the garage and along the garden path to the Coachhouse entrance. The private patio garden can be accessed either via The Coach House kitchen or the main house garden. There is one drive for off-street parking (in front of the garage) which is suitable for a small to medium car. Otherwise there is plentiful free parking on the roadside for larger cars. We can offer help and advice on the best places and things to do in the area and as we live in the grounds are readily available for any help needed. Ramsgate is a wonderful Georgian seaside town with a beautiful harbour to relax in and people watch whilst enjoying a glass of whatever takes your fancy. The area is blessed with an array of beautiful sandy beaches - the nearest is . The (low tide) beach walk from Ramsgate to Broadstairs that takes about 45 minutes and is stunning - a local favourite. Ramsgate has recently been described as 'Shoreditch on-sea' with a burgeoning music scene and nightlife. The area is also easily accessible to Margate, Deal, Sandwich and Walmer. 10 minute walk to Ramsgate train station. The Loop bus stops at the end of the road and travels between Margate, Broadstairs, Ramsgate and Westwood Cross shopping centre. It is a short 5 minute walk to the Westcliff promenade and beaches. A 15 minute stroll will take you down to the Royal Harbour and Main Sands.
