In the basement your private whirlpool outside, and indoor your private sauna and solarium! All free of charge. Access for guests: You enter the property through a common entrance door and turn right to reach your apartment via stairs leading upstairs. We are always available for our guests and as we live in the same house we are easy reachable. In case we are gone we have a backup also living in the same house. Telephone, SMS, Email, (Hidden by Airbnb) , Messenger, or whatever you prefer as communication channel is all available. The location is hard to beat. It's nestled within one of Austria's most spectacular valleys, Stubaital, and surrounded by some of the country's highest peaks. Medraz im Stubai (where Villa Sonnegg is located) is one of the sunniest places in the valley and the start of some spectacular walks, rodel tracks and access to all 4 ski resorts. It's a 20 minute drive from Innsbruck (dubbed 'the heart of the Alps'), or you can take the picturesque red tram directly from the village centre Fulpmes (50mins). The Stubaital is abundant with adventure activities of all kinds from skiing (4 resorts), floodlit sledding, hiking, paragliding, stunning lakes, waterfalls, a glacier with ice caves and a summer toboggan and mountain carting. After several decades traveling the world and living abroad I really enjoy being back home and I very much appreciate this beautiful place. We know a lot about the area (because we love doing all this stuff ourselves) and can be around to help / advise if you need us. The house backs directly onto the the forest, with fantastic bike, running and hiking trails literally on our doorstep. The valley has 4 ski resorts all accessible via car (short drive) or free ski buses. A bus stop 5 mins from the house during ski season. Pickup and transport to the airport can be arranged. Der öffentliche Bus (kostenlos für Skifahrer) ist in unmittelbarer Nähe und bietet optimale Verbindung zu allen vier Skigebieten im Stubaital (inklusive Gletscher) sowie nach Innsbruck. Transport vom Flughafen oder Hauptbahnhof kann ebenfalls gerne arrangiert werden. None smoking Apartment.
