Within easy reach of the lodge is the gorgeous World Heritage city of Bath with its Roman Baths and Jane Austen connections. Highgrove Gardens and Tetbury lie just to the south and close by is the ancient Roman town of Cirencester with its incredible mosaics. The quintessential Cotswold villages of Stow-On-The-Wold, Bourton-On-The Water and Painswick are a short drive away. For walkers the Lodge is in the heart of the most glorious countryside with any number of fantastic walks and set behind the Lodge is the fabulous Selsley Common with outstanding panoramic views over to the River Severn, Wales and amazing Cotswold countryside. The Cotswolds is renowned for its beautiful arts and crafts and delicious food and every Saturday there is the famous farmers market in Stroud where you can buy first class home-made produce from the region. All the amenities of Stroud and the railway station with direct trains to London are a five minute car ride away. There are numerous stunning walks on the doorstep.
