This house is great for entertaining or for a romantic getaway. It has everything you need plus a lot of extras to enjoy the outside entertaining space. Dani is a wonderful host and truly cares about her guests. We had a little internet problem that was solved immediately. She communicated with us via text through the whole trip. There is The Lodge Lighthouse Restaurant and Bar several blocks around the corner, and outside the main gate across Railroad Canyon Road in The Town Center are various service and entertainment businesses. FOOD, BEVERAGES OR TEE TIME?: We'd be happy to reserve you a TEE TIME at The Canyon Lake Country Club. Though you will make payments directly to the Pro-Golf Shop upon your arrival there, only your host can schedule bookings ahead of time based on first come, first served availability. Current fees are as follows and are subject to change : $39 per person Green Fee. $15 per person Golf Cart (if you need it). Club rental $25 per 18 holes (if you need). Open Sun up to Sun down. Mornings are popular to beat the heat. If you already know the days and times you'd like to book, please make your request early on to increase liklihood of securing your more desired time(s). The CANYON LAKE COUNTRY CLUB RESTAURANT and GOLFING (open to the public) is just outside the Main gate, as well (turn right at RRCnyn Rd and turn Right at the next street stop light. There are numerous lake front beach parks throughout the community. SIERRA BEACH PARK surrounding BASS Cove's portion of Canyon Lake is very close by just up Vacation Drive. As you enter the guarded gate and receive your parking pass to be placed in your driver's side windshield, kindly request a MAP of Canyon Lake from the attendant. All points of interest are listed therein. Enjoy your stay, Dani The best way to get around Canyon Lake is by vehicle or via golf cart. SPEED LIMIT: The major community speed limit is 35 mph. Please adhere to the speed to avoid getting a speeding ticket. Keep your vehicle guest pass in the driver's side windshield area so your car will not be ticketed when you drive and park elsewhere in the community. Inviting guest? You'd be sharing the side road with golf carts, cyclist, skate boarder's, and dog walkers. We find it safer to drive to the nearby park, and go from there with fun or physical activities, such as volleyball, BBQing/picnic, children's play apparatus', placing your kayak or canoe on the lake and kayaking or canoeing, take a walk/stroll around the park, or watch the wild life and enjoy the scenery. SMOKING can be enjoyed down across from the pool/spa area where there are sofa, chairs and bench patio seating. NEVER smoke anything inside the home nor on terraces or Veranda.
