St Monans is a quaint little fishing village in the East Neuk of Fife. The village has a lovely coffee & gift shop, a couple of very good restaurants, mini market and post office, all within a few minutes walk from the house. With access to the coastal path you can walk west along to Elie where you can sit and enjoy a meal in the beer garden overlooking the beach or east into Pittenweem or further on to Anstruther where you will find lots of lovely cafes, restaurants and gift shops dotted along the harbour front.
