Dabinett Yurt sleeps up to 4, with a double bed and two single floor mattresses available if required. The interior is hand crafted by a local artist and it is situated in six acres of beautiful working orchard boasting gorgeous views across the Exmoor National Park. The yurt has mains electric and lighting with heat by way of a lovely wood burning stove with a BBQ and fire pit provided, making it the perfect get away, whatever the weather. Dabinett Yurt has been beautifully hand crafted in the UK by Millie's Yurts of Dorset and id set in the middle of our beautiful orchard. It sleeps 2 in a double bed and has two single floor mattresses available. There is a fully equipped kitchenette, electricity sockets, USB charging points and lighting. Dedicated toilet and shower can be found in the nearby utilities block. The interior has been decked out to a high standard, using aged cedar and repurposed apple wood, which has been hand carved by our friend and local artist Rob Heard. The glamping units are situated on the far side of the site, are well separated. There is a communal utilities block with an allocated toilet and shower solely for the use of Dabinett. Torre Cider Farm is an award-winning small scale cider producer. The farm has a Farmhouse Kitchen, selling delicious home-made breakfasts, lunches, snacks and cakes, delicious cream teas and of course our handmade, stone baked pizzas.. There is also have a farm shop which stocks locally produced foods and craft products, as well as Torre Cider's own cider and apple juice, pressed on site. There is a children's playground and a number of farm animals to visit. Torre Cider Farm is situated on the borders of the Exmoor Dark Skies Reserve, one of the darkest places in the country with excellent views of the night sky. There is information about local dark skies events available with telescopes available to hire from the nearby Exmoor National Park shop. Guests have out of hours access to the children's playground and the beautiful orchard. As a working farm there are some clearly marked areas where moving farm machinery and equipment mean extra care is needed and your access may be restricted. Please be aware we are a working farm with the apple harvest being picked during the Autumn months of September and October. As a tourist attraction visitors will be onsite during the day, however, the glamping area of the orchard is not open to the public and this is clearly marked. The firelighters and logs for your first fire are provided, further supplies can be purchased onsite or locally. Charcoal for the BBQ is available to purchase onsite. As a glamper you will have out of hours access to both the children's playground and orchard so why not have an evening BBQ or picnic with a glass of cider or two amongst the apple trees.
