Ty-Vern is a self catering holiday cottage situated in the peaceful village of Llandefalle, between Hay-on-Wye and Brecon. It has the most amazing panoramic views of the Brecon Beacons and is an ideal base for a relaxing break or an adventure filled activity holiday - its up to you... Newly renovated to a high standard. Ty-Vern is the perfect place to enjoy a visit to the Brecon Beacons. You'll have a private, off road, parking space and we have a secure police approved garage if you want to bring your bike. Ty-Vern is a self catering holiday home. It has 3 en-suite bedrooms which can be booked together by a small group or family, or can be booked independently, in which case you'll be sharing the kitchen, dining room and living areas with other travellers. My partner Jennie and I live next door and work locally so we are on hand to answer your questions and point you in the right direction. Ty-Vern is in a peaceful location in the small village of Llandefalle. 5 minutes away by car is Llyswen which has a village shop, garage, pub and cafe. Brecon is only 10 minutes by car and Hay-on-Wye is 15mins, so it really is the perfect location from which to explore the surrounding area. Public transport is limited, but we offer a shuttle service on request for cyclists and walkers. Ty-Vern is a great base for both road and mtb cycling, with fantastic trails on the doorstep. I'm a keen cyclist and will happily give you the low-down on where to go. The hiking and trail running are also excellent and the views of the mountains will definitely inspire you.
