'Rivendell' is a tiny treehouse built on an ancient chestnut tree in a permaculture forest - farm in an unspoilt area of Garfagnana in the province of Lucca. The treehouse itself consists of a small private bedroom with small double bed, and a terrace for viewing the sunset. In addition there are spaces shared with guest in other parts of the forest, such as living room, kitchen, dry compost toilets, solar and woodchip heated shower, sauna and campfire area.
