Large gardens with seating and BBQ area. OUTSIDE - Large gardens all around property backing onto farmland. Long private driveway and ample parking for 4/5 cars. Patio / BBQ / Garden table benches All spaces except out buildings. Outbuildings and farm machinery are used by owner and may be accessed during daylight hours. Heating should be on controls in airing cupboard upstairs - switch on / off. Plenty of logs etc. Back up hot water electric immersion heater in tank if required. Back up electric heater if required. Log burning stove is HOT use guard. There are some basic provisions in cupboards. Electric cooker and oven confuse some people try it out before you need it. Power socket RHS cooker in lower cupboard. The hob will shut off if it gets too wet. Greenacres is within a conservation area and Salthouse itself is in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Salthouse coasthopper bus stop at bottom of Cross Street. Short drive or get the coast hopper bus to Cley, Blakeney, Wells, Holt, Sheringham and Cromer. Rail services from Sherringham to Norwich and London. Ideal area for walking, bird watching, fishing, golf. Go fishing from beach. Go Golf in Sheringham, Runton, Cromer. Recommend; Go on steam train Holt to Sheringham day ticket. Seal trip from Blakeney or Morston 3 miles Walk to beach 1/2 mile. walk to heath 1/2 mile up hill. Best sandy beaches- Holkham bay - Wells - Sheringham Cley bird sanctuary 1 mile west Salthouse pub DUN COW Cookies crab sea food shop in village. Local village shop Pheasant hotel restaurant 2 miles east Blakeney hotel restaurant Pie pub in Warham 6 miles west very basic traditional pub. Local church - also short cut to shop. Best shopping Holt 3 miles or sheringham 4 miles. Small supermarket in Blakeney open late. At night take a torch it gets dark. Mobile phone signals are poor.
