The property is serenely private, set in 150 acres of wooded grounds. The suites are gorgeously and luxuriously appointed with antique furniture and squishy, french beds. The private en-suite bathrooms are luxurious places to soak and relax in. The pool is heated and private too - you will not be fighting for sunbed space! Your hosts are welcoming, warm and relaxed, and will greet you on your arrival. Even your pets are welcome by prior arrangement. Natasja will even create light meals for you on request should you want to forego a restaurant and stay laying in the sun by the pool. The property is accessed by a long, private gated drive, and there is plenty of parkign space directly by your suite. The property sits in its own parc of 150 acres, mainly wooded, so there is plenty of space. It is private and peaceful, approached by a private drive and electronic gates. There is ample parking, and the two suites have enough space – both inside and outside, that you can be as private as you wish. A couple of mins drive away is a village which has everything you need – baker, butcher, mini-mart, tabac, doctor, pharmacy – even a cinema! And just 20 mins drive away is the buzzing little city of Angouleme with its host of pavement cafes and ancient architecture. Les Grozilles is 25 mins from Angouleme, a lovely small city in south-west France. Angouleme is a TGV Railway Station, so the smooth and reliable high speed train will whizz you to Paris in 1hr 45mins, or Bordeaux in about 35mins.
