No other dwelling are visible in the summer but in the winter when the trees are bare, other homes are visible across the river. The town of Sparta is approximately 15 minutes away, where you will find local restaurants and shops. Among others, the Coffee Collective, Calfkiller Brewery, Northfields Vineyard, San Pedro's Mexican Restaurant, The Tavern on Maple Street, Happy Trails Brewing Company, and Fragrant Mushroom are popular spots with both locals and visitors.
