Nana's House

Nana’s House is a fully self contained, cosy but spacious, 2 bedroom cottage adjoined to host’s home. Partially air conditioned. Has 2 separate entrances, full kitchen, 1 and 1/2 bathrooms, small lounge with TV, plus larger rumpus room (with books and games) in which to relax. Situated on 5 acres, on a hill overlooking the valley, this home is private and peaceful. Due to it being attached to host’s house it is not suitable for parties or noisy gatherings. Strictly no smoking. No pets permitted. Accommodates maximum 4 people. You will share our 5 acres with a herd of very friendly alpacas, a sheep and a dog. However, the cottage is pet free to accommodate allergy sufferers. The dwelling is spacious with 2 living areas, a large main bedroom with a queen bed ( pillow top mattress), smaller 2nd bedroom with 2 single beds and a fully equipped kitchen. Lovely views to be had from all rooms. Located on a quiet road 2 and 1/2 kms out of town, its a great place to relax and enjoy the peace of country life. Wi fi is included. Suitable for weekend getaways, holiday rentals, longer term rentals, and business travellers. Children under the age of 10 are unable to be accommodated at this time. Enjoy the cottage and the outside areas including the alpaca paddock. Whilst the cottage is attached to the main house, it is designed to be completely private although does not lend itself to parties or noisy groups. I am sometimes out at work, but every effort will be made to meet and greet and assist with all enquiries at all times. Self check in and out is available. Located 2 and 1/2 kms from Moss Vale town centre we are a 20 minute walk or a 5 minute drive from the shops and railway station. There are no bus stops close by and we are located on a hill above the town. It is in a particularly scenic part of the Southern Highlands with views across the valley and our alpacas! If you would like an active stay, we offer 'yoga with the alpacas', sessions with a personal trainer, or 'learn to pole dance' lessons with a qualified instructor. These can all be booked in advance or upon arrival unless booked out. Bowral is a 15 minute drive, and historic Berrima a 10 minute drive from our home. There are some lovely wineries close by as well as great restaurants and cafes. Tourist information, including maps, are supplied at Nana's House. This home is perfectly set up for short, mid or longer length rental accommodation. It is fully furnished and would provide a quiet retreat for anyone doing business in the area or needing a short term place to live. For holiday rentals weekend stays must be of 2 nights minimum. For midweek 1 night rentals can be negotiated. The fully equipped kitchen means you can prepare your own meals, however basic breakfast foods will be provided - toast, jams, fresh fruit, and cereal, along with tea, coffee and biscuits.
