Like most, I fell in love with this country and it’s people and decided to make a home here for when I am in country doing work. Down the main street is the local police station and at the other end of the street is the leader of the opposition party so we do not have any trouble. It is calm, quiet and conveniently located on the road to Jinja where many visitors go to volunteer. Uber available for convenient pickup at the front gate, paying with cash is ideal. It's about $2-4 USD to the city center each way or I can also arrange for my personal driver to pick you up at the airport and bring you home, he is available for about $20 USD a day or 90,000 Shillings. He is completely trustworthy and a sweet family man.
