An eco-retreat nestled in 1 acre of lush rain-forest - awake to birdsong, wallabies and wind rustling through the rain-forest vegetation! Newly renovated apartment with eco-lux feel. Just a couple of kilometres into Lismore CBD, Lismore Base Hospital and Southern Cross University (SCU). Yet far enough out of town to avoid the traffic and noise. FAMILY FRIENDLY - Portacot, bumbo, baby bath, bottle steriliser, baby products and kids crockery, kids books and more available upon request. We have a toddler too so we don't mind kiddies noise! As long as you don't mind the pitter patter of small feet either. Guests have their own private area downstairs -comprising a lounge area with kitchenette (microwave, full fridge & freezer, kettle, toaster, coffee percolator & plunger), separate bedroom with renovated marble ensuite bathroom. Flat screen TV & DVD player provided. BBQ provided. Guests have their own separate entry. We are best set up for SHORT STAYS as we do not have a full kitchen (see above) or laundry facilities. A delicious continental breakfast is provided for guests to consume at their leisure. As far as possible breakfast is home-made, home-grown, spray free, locally sourced & ecologically sustainable. Guests have their own private entry and area downstairs -comprising a lounge with kitchenette and separate bedroom with private en-suite bathroom. Guests have their own car spot and private entry. We reserve the house upstairs for ourselves but you are welcome to enjoy the 1 acre of bushland and gardens. We are ideally located just minutes by car from Lismore CBD, Lismore Base Hospital, St Vincent's Private Hospital and Southern Cross University (SCU). Yet far enough out of town to avoid the traffic and noise. Hiring a car is the easiest way to get around. Alternatively, there are some buses and a local taxi service. You will note that we have put a lot of thought into making your stay wonderful. We have tried to anticipate all your travelling needs. Please treat the place like your own and leave it as you found it - immaculate. Please ensure that dishes are cleaned and put away, rubbish bins are emptied and that food scraps are removed from fridge prior to departure. Note that a cleaning fee will be applied for excess mess, or if linen stains can not be easily laundered. Also please note we have an adorable toddler who lives upstairs with us, she is very well behaved but does occasionally make noise or you may hear the pitter patter of little feet. So if you're looking for *complete silence* you may be better suited elsewhere. 35km to iconic Byron beaches, breathtaking Minyon falls, the hippy chic Channon and adorable villages including Bexhill (don't miss Open air cathedral), Clunes (13km), Eltham (10km gorgeous country pub), and Bangalow for a latte and some funky artsy shopping.
