Recent barn conversion refurbished with all modern facilities for 2019. We hope this cosy bolthole here on Anglesey will offer you your own Unforgettable escape. Hologwyn Bach is newly converted barn restored to a high standard for 2019 and set in its own 5 acres of beautiful rolling farmland. Wonderful views of Snowdonia and less than 10 minutes from the coast. Relax in a calm, tasteful and tranquil space and truly escape for a few days. LIVING AREA: Lounge, kitchen & dining space is open plan giving the cottage a lovely sense of space and light. KITCHEN: A well equipped, bright & light brand new kitchen. We've aimed to cater for a relaxing stay with plenty of cupboard space, plenty of wine glasses, modern John Lewis units, an electric oven with induction hob, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge and separate freezer, plus a beautiful granite topped island prep area. There is a large Ercol table ideal for enjoying some relaxed dining. On a clear day you might even sneak a view of Snowdon from the kitchen window. LOUNGE: Includes at 50" LG smart TV, and two comfortable sofas where you can kick back and relax as well as a cosy Ercol reading chair. There is under floor heating throughout the property. Solid oak flooring in the living areas and soft sumptuous carpeting in the bedrooms. BEDROOMS : X1 Superking Double X1 Kingsize Double (or twin) MASTER: Superking A super comfy, Superking size bed, crisp John Lewis bed linen, stylish traditional Welsh Melin Tregwynt throws and cushions, plus en suite with free standing bath and large walk-in shower and heated towel rail. There is a 42" LG TV, plus a day bed, which can be converted from a sofa /chaise into a toddler bed (upon request and for an additional charge). SECOND BEDROOM: Kingsize (or twin) The second bedroom is smaller but still airy with plenty of charm. It can be arranged as a twin, or as a kingsize double and includes a TV and also an en suite bathroom with shower. I live in the main Hologwyn Farmhouse next to the cottage so am usually available if you have any questions, or just need a chat about the area. Also very happy to make recommendations of things to do. The cottage is at the end of a private lane (0.5 km) with public footpaths connecting to the property. There is a small bistro style table and chairs outside the cottage for your use. From here you can look directly out onto the mountains of Snowdonia including Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa) the highest peak in England & Wales. It's a pretty special vantage point and a perfect spot to enjoy a morning coffee or end of day drinks. N.B We plan to create an additional garden space this spring/summer. There is a private parking space for you adjacent to the cottage. LLanfairpwll station is just 5 minutes away with direct line to London and Holyhead. Hologwyn Bach is located in beautiful countryside with 5 acres of surrounding farmland which you are free to explore. A public footpath leads directly from the cottage to the prehistoric Bryn Celli Ddu burial site and you can connect from here onto the Anglesey Coastal path. The A55 and Britannia Bridge are only 5 mins away. Snowdonia is just 20 minutes drive over the Menai Straits. A good variety of facilities, restaurants and pubs nearby and around the island. The nearest pub is a 5 minute drive away in Llanfairpwll, and there are plenty of family friendly cafes and restaurants just 10 mins away in Menai Bridge. This is a self- catering listing. Breakfast is not included. The cottage is however equipped with some simple essentials though to help ease you into the start of your holiday: tea, ground coffee, sugar, milk, salt & pepper, olive oil. We do accept one well behaved dog (but kindly ask that you do not allow your pooch into the bedroom areas). There is an additional £20 charge for this, which we ask you to pay on arrival.
