The home in the picture. Poggio
Entering in the apartment you find yourself in the living room which contains a cooking area, dining table, and a sofa bed for two people. The apartment has one bedroom with two beds which could be united to form a double bed. The apartment has one bathroom and a balcony from which you can view another small town called Marciana. This is a fifty square meter apartment on the ground floor, painted by a famous Italian artist, Telemaco Signorini, in 1883. It faces a square called “Piazza del Pesce” which is one of the most charming squares of the small town. This square has remained the same since 1800! There are times when it seems that Napoleone Bonaparte is still walking around the town. Poggio is five km. away from Marciana Marina and cars cannot circulate throughout the town. Car need to be parked in parking areas which are found along the roads that take you to Marciana. Some parking lots have fees, but free parking is also available.
