‘Bumblebee lodge’-Retreat, Getaway, Business stop.

If it’s a peaceful spot to unwind and relax you’re looking for, look no further. Relax in this peaceful area of the beautiful Cheshire countryside. Bumblebee lodge is newly furnished throughout, double bed, modern wet room, use of outside space including seating area, sink, hot tub &a gas BBQ. Situated in a small Farming village on the outskirts of Knutsford. There’s a fantastic pub & beautiful lake both within walking distance. Keybox on outside wall so guests can come and go as they please. Bumblebee lodge has a double bedroom with en-suite wet room. Access to the lodge is through my utility room. In the utility room guests have use of a washing machine, dryer, fridge freezer, microwave, two ringed plug in hob and pans, kettle and toaster. There is a local bus that passes through the village every two hours. There is also a train station a 5 minute drive away at Lostock Gralam. There are several dependable local taxi services. There is space to park your vehicle on my driveway, other than that there is space on the roads as there are no double yellow lines in Pickmere. During your stay if I am not home I will be contactable by phone or email. I will be home most evenings. I make sure guests have privacy whilst being on the end of my phone if they do need me for anything. The local pub is well known for its friendly environment, beautiful beer garden and good food. In the colder months the real log fires make for a very warm welcome. This is a 2 minute walk away from bumblebee lodge. A little further along the road (approx 10- 15 minute walk) is a beautiful lake. Here you will find wonderful views and some varied wildfowl. A few miles away from junction 19 of the M6, you will wiggle your way through open country lanes to reach Bumblebee lodge. There is a local bus which passes through, stopping very nearby, several times a day. It is a 5 minute car journey to the nearest train station. There are also many beautiful walks and areas to cycle, beginning on my doorstep! Arley Hall definitely deserves a visit , this is only 4 miles away and has a wonderful restaurant/tea shop and extensive beautifully kept gardens. If you did want to venture out of the countryside there are many fantastic places to eat out within 5 miles. Less than 10 minutes drive away are supermarkets, high street shops and a cinema.
